With the 3 reference images from their Fizbit Character (above) and working alongside original character designer Adam Burke, I developed a full body character model sheet. I made some alterations to the original design, such as changing the lights on his chest to a heartbeat display, which could be used to play various other animations.

Based on the new character design, I modeled the 3D character, created the UV maps, painted the textures, 2D animated the eyes and display, and developed the rigging.

Then, I 3D animated the character to perform 3 actions: stand idly, listen attentively, and speak. I also developed different mouth opening animations, that could be used with computer generated speech to look more lifelike.

Finally, I developed a base Unity project with the ARKit Plugin. I created the blue particles coming from his rocket thruster. I also programmed C++ scripts that smoothly transition between the animations when the user touches the screen, which can later be triggered by more complex interactions.
